Flashing Overview for Hotwav Cosmos V4

  1. Confirm your phone model is the Hotwav Cosmos V4 by checking the label under the battery
  2. Download and extract the firmware zip file on your Windows computer to get the .pac file
  3. Install the Spreadtrum (SPD) USB driver on your PC
  4. Open SPD Upgrade Tool, click the single gear icon (Load Packet), and select the .pac file
  5. Click the Play button (Start Downloading) in the tool
  6. Turn off the phone, remove and reinsert the battery, hold Volume Down (or Volume Up), and connect the USB cable
  7. Keep holding the button until flashing starts, then wait for the green Passed message
