The ZTE Blade L111 is an ultra-low-end smartphone from 2016, designed to serve as a very basic communication device for first-time users. With its extremely modest hardware, including just 512MB of RAM, software issues can easily render it unusable. How to Flash Using SPD Upgrade Tool

  1. Install Drivers: Download and extract the SPD USB Drivers. Install them on your PC. On modern versions of Windows, you may need to disable Driver Signature Enforcement first.
  2. Extract Files: Unzip the downloaded Firmware file (…SPD.zip) to get the firmware with a .pac extension. Extract the SPD Upgrade Tool to a separate folder.
  3. Launch SPD Tool: Open the tool folder and run the UpgradeDownload.exe application.
  4. Load Firmware Package: Click the first gear icon (Load Packet). Navigate to and select the .pac file you extracted. The tool will take a moment to load and verify the file.
  5. Prepare the Phone: Power off your ZTE Blade L111. Remove the back cover and take the battery out, then put it back in to ensure it is completely powered down.
  6. Start the Flash: Click the “Play” icon (Start Downloading) in the tool. Press and hold the Volume Down button on your phone and immediately connect it to your PC with a USB cable.
  7. Wait for Completion: The tool will detect the phone and a progress bar will appear. You can release the volume button. Wait until the process is finished and a green “Passed” message is displayed.
  8. Reboot: Disconnect the phone, remove and re-insert the battery, then hold the Power button to turn it on. The first boot after flashing will be slow.

No. The ZTE Blade L111’s 512MB of RAM and old Android 5.1 OS are not sufficient to run almost any modern applications. This phone is only suitable for basic calling, SMS, and possibly very lightweight, older apps. Please set your expectations accordingly.
