The ZTE Blade Q Lux 4G is a budget 4G smartphone from 2015. For this very old device, flashing the stock firmware is often the only way to resolve critical software errors, fix a bootloop, or restore the phone to a clean factory state.
CRUCIAL WARNING: This firmware is for the 4G LTE version of the Blade Q Lux only. There is a separate 3G-only model with different hardware. This firmware will brick the 3G model.
Important Note: This device is powered by a MediaTek MT6732/MT6752 chipset. The restoration process requires the use of SP Flash Tool.

FAQs
Q1. How do I know if I have the 4G or 3G version?
The 4G version supports LTE networks and came with Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The 3G version only supports 3G networks and came with the older Android 4.2.2. Checking your `Settings > About phone` for the Android version is the easiest way to tell.
Q2. Can I install any modern apps on Android 4.4.4 KitKat?
No. Android KitKat is an obsolete operating system from 2013. The vast majority of apps on the Google Play Store, including current versions of WhatsApp, Facebook, and banking apps, will not be compatible. This firmware restores the phone for basic calling and SMS functionality only.
Device-Specific Troubleshooting
- “Insufficient Storage” Errors: The 8GB of internal storage is extremely limited. A clean flash will free up space, but you must use a microSD card and disable any pre-installed apps you don’t use to have any functional space.
- SP Flash Tool Doesn’t Detect the Phone: This is a driver issue. Reinstall the VCOM drivers (disabling driver signature enforcement in Windows). The removable battery is key: remove it, click “Download” in SP Flash Tool, then connect the phone without the battery. Re-insert the battery once the red bar passes.
- “Invalid IMEI” after Flashing: This critical error occurs if you use the “Format All + Download” option. To prevent this, always use the “Download Only” mode.
